2019 Wisconsin commits Julius Davis, Joe Tippmann showcase talents at Under Armour All-America Camp

Some solid performances by the future Badgers.

While Graham Mertz was slinging the ball around Columbus to earn quarterback MVP honors at the Rivals 3 Stripe Camp, two other 2019 Wisconsin commits—Julius Davis and Joe Tippmann—tested their talents on Sunday in Chicago at the Under Armour All-America camp.

SB Nation’s Bud Elliott, BadgerBlitz.com’s Jon McNamara, and 247Sports’s Allen Trieu were in attendance for the regional event.

McNamara spoke with both 2019 commits, and all indications are that Davis and Tippman are solid to Wisconsin.

We hope to have some interviews with the future Badgers in the following days, but for now, here are some highlights of the two from those in attendance.

Julius Davis

From Menomonee Falls, Wis., Davis is rated a three-star running back by 247Sports (both composite and standalone rankings), ESPN, and Rivals.

According to Rivals.com, he holds offers from Wisconsin, LSU, Notre Dame, USC, and Buffalo.

Check out the videos below of Davis running routes.

Joe Tippmann

McNamara tweeted the future Wisconsin lineman was announced as one of the two “Big Man Challenge” winners. Trieu noted he was the offensive lineman recipient, and the videos below show an intriguing skill set from the Indiana product.

Tippmann is rated a four-star recruit by 247Sports’ standalone rankings, a three-star prospect by 247Sports composite, ESPN, and Rivals. He committed to Wisconsin in mid-December, and according to Rivals, currently holds offers from Iowa, Indiana, Purdue, and Cincinnati, among others.
