With the Wisconsin Badgers starting their 2019 summer conditioning sessions this week, the program also now begins to host its summer camp series and also some recruits on official visits.
Starting with those official visits and based on various reports and tweets—as seen in our tracker below—2019 recruits Dean Engram and Isaiah Gibson will be at Wisconsin starting on Friday.
Engram is designated by 247Sports as a wide receiver and cornerback, with both ESPN and Rivals listing him as an athlete. All three recruiting services view him as a three-star prospect. The Washington D.C. (Gonzaga) product is also the son of former Penn State standout and NFL veteran Bobby Engram.
For what it’s worth recently, 247Sports crystal ball predictions lean towards Wisconsin as the landing destination for Engram, who recently visited Madison back in mid-March.
Like Engram, Gibson is rated a three-star recruit by both 247Sports and Rivals. The Springfield, Ohio, defensive tackle hails from the same high school as wide receiver Danny Davis and current 2019 Kentucky commit Moses Douglass.
Gibson—who according to the two recruiting services holds over 20 offers—is rated the No. 39 and No. 57 defensive tackle in the nation by Rivals and 247Sports standalone rankings, respectively.

The other name that was publicly known on the list for this weekend was Flint. Mich. (Carman-Ainsworth) defensive end Michael Fletcher. On Tuesday night, however, Fletcher tweeted then deleted a message saying he was no longer taking an official to Wisconsin (as seen now with BadgerBlitz.com’s Jon McNamara quote-tweeting Fletcher’s initial tweet). B5Q took him off our list due to the uncertainty, but we will keep you posted if anything changes.
