Another Wisconsin Badgers class of 2019 target places UW as one of his final schools of consideration, as three-star defensive end Michael Fletcher tweeted his commitment date on Sunday afternoon.
According to his announcement, Fletcher will verbally commit on June 29th at 6 p.m. ET at Carman-Ainsworth High School in Flint, Mich. The projected defensive lineman will choose between Michigan State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Alabama and Kentucky.
Fletcher will officially visit Wisconsin next weekend from June 1-3, as announced back in April after bumping it up a week from June 8-10 previously. He is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports standalone rankings and a three-star recruit by 247Sports composite rankings, ESPN and Rivals.
247Sports composite rankings rate Fletcher as the No. 387 player and No. 25 strong-side defensive end in the country.
For what it’s worth, 247Sports’s crystal ball predictions list the Spartans as the favorites to land Fletcher.
