Nigel Hayes reportedly has his next NBA opportunity.

Hayes previously signed with the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 19 on a 10-day contract as well. He played in two games, averaging 5.4 minutes, 1.5 points, and one assist.
The former Badger has shined in the G-League this season, averaging 16.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.4 steals across 38 games while shooting 44.1 percent from three-point range for the Westchester Knicks. Hayes scored 35 points and grabbed six rebounds in a 110–105 win against the Lakeland Magic on Sunday.
The Westchester Knicks are currently 28–14 and sit in first place in the Eastern Conference.
