I teased it at the end of Tuesday’s show, and today we deliver it! Two Wisconsin Badgers—one about to come to Madison, the other who just finished his collegiate playing career in late December—join a special, “Sunshine State” edition of the podcast, as both are from the state of Florida.

[00:00-12:20] The Wisconsin men’s basketball team landed a big commitment for its 2018 class with Florida point guard Tai Strickland, and he jumped on B5P to discuss why he chose to come to UW, what he expects to bring to the program, and the influence his father, Rod, has played on and off the court (and yes, we do ask him about Washington Wizards guard John Wall retweeting his Wisconsin offer back from earlier this year).

[12:45-30:48] Derrick “The Amazing” Tindal swings by to chat about his training for the NFL, his pro day performance earlier in March, what to expect from Wisconsin’s cornerbacks next season, and most importantly, our shared admiration for the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the hype for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War.
