Wisconsin among final 3 schools for 2018 PG Tai Strickland

The Florida standout is headed to B1G territory.

Florida prep point guard Tai Strickland released his final three college choices on Monday evening, with Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Rutgers all in the running for his commitment.

Strickland, listed at 6’2, 180 pounds according to 247Sports and Rivals, recently visited the Wisconsin campus this past weekend. He is the son of former NBA veteran Rod Strickland.

The prep standout is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports’ composite rankings, ESPN, and Rivals, with Rivals reporting the Florida prospect holds offers from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Rutgers, and Boston College, among others.

According to 247Sports and Rivals, Strickland appears to be visiting Rutgers this upcoming weekend, with 247Sports noting that he will visit Minnesota on April 6.
