Though the Wisconsin Badgers aren’t dancing in March Madness this weekend, that doesn’t mean head coach Greg Gard and his coaching staff are just sitting home and watching the NCAA Tournament like the rest of us.
2018 guard Tai Strickland visited Wisconsin starting on Thursday. PrepCircuit.com’s Pat Lawless first reported the news of the official visit from the NBA legacy earlier this month.
Strickland is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports’ composite rankings, ESPN, and Rivals, with Rivals reporting the Florida prospect holds offers from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Rutgers, and Boston College, among others.
Three-star point guard Tai Strickland toured the Kohl Center and facilities yesterday afternoon. Had dinner with some of the players Thursday night. Continues official visit today. #Badgers

It appears Tai’s father, former NBA veteran Rod Strickland, joined the trip as well.
Both 247Sports and Rivals note in their profiles of Strickland that the guard will visit Rutgers next weekend.
