Later on Wednesday morning, Wisconsin officially announced his signing, listing him as a cornerback.
Once a Rutgers and Georgia commit, Wildgoose, Jr. chose to sign with Wisconsin over other prominent Power Five schools. He is the 20th scholarship and presumably the last commit for this 2018 class, along with the fourth scholarship cornerback in this recruiting cycle. Fellow cornerbacks Travian Blaylock, Donte Burton, and Alexander Smith all faxed in their National Letters of Intent (NLIs) back in December as part of the early signing period.
Other cornerbacks coming to Wisconsin from the South Florida area in recent memory include the likes of Dontye Carriere-Williams, Faion Hicks and Derrick Tindal.

Verbally Committed on Feb. 7, 2018
The last scholarship commitment for the class of 2018, Wildgoose, Jr. chose Wisconsin over the likes of UCF, NC, State and Georgia. He was previously committed to the Bulldogs as well as Rutgers.
Both 247Sports and Rivals reported in their profiles of Wildgoose Jr. that he has visited Pitt, UCF, and NC State since Jan. 24. The Miami product previously de-committed from Georgia back on Jan. 14 and Rutgers previously in May 2017.
According to 247Sports, the cornerback has also received offers from Alabama, Auburn, Nebraska, Florida, and Purdue, among others.
Video Highlights
His senior highlights showcase a corner—listed at 5’11, 190 pounds by Wisconsin—who stays with his receiver and is looking to make a pass break-up at the right moment. Several plays come up where he is willing and unafraid to make a tackle as well.
