GAME THREAD: Wisconsin vs. Maryland

The Badgers look to avoid a five-game losing streak on the road.

The Wisconsin Badgers look to avoid a five-game losing streak as they head to College Park to face the Maryland Terrapins on Sunday afternoon (12 p.m. CT, CBS).

Wisconsin (10-14, 3-8 Big Ten) looks again to try to right the ship after a pair of home losses this past week to Nebraska and Northwestern. Since the Jan. 2 home win against Indiana, UW has lost seven of its last eight games.

At least one bright spot lately has been junior forward Khalil Iverson, who has averaged 13.4 points and five rebounds per game in the past five contests per UW.

Maryland (15-9, 4-7) comes off a 75-67 loss at No. 3 Purdue on Jan. 31. The Terps lost forwards Justin Jackson and Ivan Bender back in December, but guards Anthony Cowan and Kevin Huerter both average double digits in points (16.0 and 14.4 per game, respectively). Forward Bruno Fernando also averages 9.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per contest as well.
