MADISON—The Wisconsin Badgers look to make it a two-game winning streak before heading on the road as they welcome the Minnesota Golden Gophers to the Kohl Center on Monday evening.
Wisconsin (12-16, 5-10 Big Ten) overcome a seven-point deficit in the second half to close out a 57-53 win over No. 6 Purdue last Thursday night on “Frank Kaminsky Night.” Ethan Happ connected on a double double (21 points, 12 rebounds) and recorded his third straight 20-point performance.
Minnesota (14-14, 3-12) have lost eight straight and 11 of its last 12 heading into the border battle in Madison. The Gophers will be without guard Amir Coffey for the rest of the season after surgery was performed on his right shoulder. The injury forced the guard to miss 10 games already this season.
