Wisconsin offers 2018 guard Tai Strickland

The search for another piece of the Wisconsin Badgers’ class of 2018 continues, with Greg Gard and his staff heading to the Sunshine State for their latest target.

St. Petersburg, Fla., standout Tai Strickland announced on Twitter Thursday night that Wisconsin offered him. He is the son of former NBA veteran Rod Strickland.

Strickland is rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, he is the No. 248 player in the nation, No. 47 PG, and No. 24 player in the state of Florida.

Rivals lists the likes of Boston College, Austin Peay, and Tennessee Tech as programs who have offered Strickland along with Wisconsin.
