We are now two weeks away from the early signing day beginning for college football’s 2019 class. While we wait for those verbal commits to send in their national letters of intent to Wisconsin in just about 14 days, the Badgers’ coaching staff appears to have extended another offer in this recruiting cycle.
Gonzales, La. (East Ascension) defensive lineman Deshon Hall, who is currently committed to Louisiana Tech, tweeted on Tuesday that he received an offer from Wisconsin.
247Sports and Rivals both rate Hall as a three-star prospect, with 247Sports composite rankings designating him as the No. 93 defensive tackle in the nation.
Rivals lists 15 offers for Hall, including opportunities from Colorado State, Southern Miss, Texas State and UAB. The prep lineman verbally committed to Louisiana Tech on June 1.
Wisconsin has already flipped two commits in this class of 2019 in tight end Clay Cundiff (previously Kansas) and wide receiver Stephan Bracey (Western Michigan). This weekend, B5Q confirmed with two currently verbally committed recruits—fullback Quan Easterling (Akron) and safety Titus Toler (Colorado)—that they will be taking their official visits to UW this upcoming weekend. Both Easterling’s and Toler’s official visits were first reported by 247Sports and Rivals.
The Badgers’ class of 2019 currently sits at 17 known scholarship and five walk-on commits.
