OLB | 6'3 | 215 | St. John Bosco (Redondo Beach, Calif.) | Three-Star; No. 23 OLB |
Enrolling early at UW, Spencer Lytle could end up being a difference making performer in Madison.
Lytle, the first true 3-4 outside linebacker the Badgers have successfully lured to Wisconsin, is in a position to where he can contribute early in an outside linebacker position lacking playmakers.
Lytle’s pedigree coming from a national power in California should prepare him well for the college game, both from a physical standpoint, as well as a mental perspective as well.

Lytle picked the Badgers over 40 plus other offers, in what was essentially down to Wisconsin and Clemson. Getting a player from St. John Bosco is a big move for Wisconsin, who looks to continue to recruit the west coast.
According to 247Sports, Lytle held offers from Wisconsin, Auburn, Clemson, Iowa, Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, Boston College, Cal, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Vanderbilt, among others.
He told B5Q on Monday that he would enroll early at Wisconsin and will room with quarterback Graham Mertz.
