James Williams will add even more talent and youth to a cornerback room that didn’t lose anyone due to graduation following the 2018-19 season.

Williams along with fellow freshman Semar Melvin will continue the south Florida pipeline that Wisconsin has developed in their cornerback corps. Derrick Tindal, Natrell Jamerson and Sojourn Shelton are just some examples recently.

Williams will look to get on the field early, as Wisconsin got at least four games played out of their four true freshmen defensive backs this past season.
