The Wisconsin Badgers’ coaching staff continued their journeys to visit their 2019 commits. The “contact period” with recruits now runs through Dec. 15, and head coach Paul Chryst and his assistants appear to be making their rounds with those verbal pledges for this class.
On Wednesday, B5Q highlighted UW coaches stopping by to say hi to quarterback Graham Mertz, tight end Hayden Rucci, defensive lineman Gio Paez and wide receiver Stephan Bracey.
Here are some more publicly-known stops by the staff as seen in the past couple of days, including its top-rated commit for this recruiting cycle, a former Kansas pledge and both a four-star cornerback and four-star lineman.
OL Logan Brown
It appears they visited the 247Sports composite five-star lineman the same day they were in town to visit Bracey (Nov. 27).

2019 Colorado safety commit reportedly sets visit
Looking at at the 247Sports profile of Bellflower, Calif. (St. John Bosco) recruit Titus Toler, it appears the prep safety will visit Wisconsin the weekend of Dec. 7. Evan Flood confirmed the visit in an article on Thursday ($) with Toler retweeting it the same day.
Bracey and inside linebacker Maema Njongmeta told B5Q earlier in November that they were planning on taking their official visits during that weekend as well.
247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN designate Toler as a three-star safety who committed to Colorado on July 16. Rivals lists 14 offers for the prep defensive back, including from Power Five programs like Arizona State, Cal, Minnesota, UCLA, Washington, and Washington State.
Colorado fired head coach Mike MacIntyre earlier in November. 247Sports also shows Toler will visit former Wisconsin defensive coordinator and current Cal head coach Justin Wilcox in Berkeley this weekend.
Wisconsin offers 2020 recruits
Looking ahead to the next class, Wisconsin extended two offers in the past couple of days from the state of Maryland.
WR/ATH Curtis Jacobs
Truly Honored to receive an offer from the University of Wisconsin-Madison #OnWisconsin pic.twitter.com/0YIvroochR

A four-star recruit by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals, Jacobs hails from Owings Mills, Md. (McDonogh School). 247Sports and ESPN both designate the prep standout as a wide receiver, with Rivals listing him as an athlete.
If that high school sounds familiar, that is the same one that current Wisconsin safety Eric Burrell attended.
247Sports lists 19 offers for Jacobs, including from Penn State, Florida, Kentucky, Nebraska and Notre Dame.
RB MarShawn Lloyd
Blessed to receive an offer from the University Of Wisconsin! #GoBadgers! pic.twitter.com/wpvE0HGBsM
— MarShawn Lloyd (@LloydMarshawn) November 29, 2018
Rated a five-star prospect, the No. 25 player overall and No. 4 running back for the 2020 class by 247Sports composite rankings, the recruiting service lists 18 offers for Lloyd. Penn State, Ohio State, Alabama, Michigan and Notre Dame are competing for his collegiate services already.
Lloyd plays for DeMatha Catholic, the same high school that produced Taiwan Deal.
