2019 commit Graham Mertz leads Blue Valley North (9–3) into the KSHSAA Class 6A state championship today against the Derby Panthers (12–0). The live stream link is embedded above and expected to go live at 1 p.m. CT.
Last week, Mertz accounted for six touchdowns (five passing, one rushing) in a 51–49 victory over Olathe North. Now he looks to add another state title to his resume before heading to Wisconsin.
Heading into today’s game, Mertz has completed 62.3 percent of his passes for 3,651 yards and 49 touchdowns with 10 interceptions. He has also rushed for four touchdowns as well.
