Wisconsin offers 2019 safety Titus Toler

New offers for a current commit and some state titles talk.

Wisconsin continues to look to add to its class of 2019, and it appears the program is targeting a current Pac-12 pledge. On Friday, Bellflower, Calif. (St. John Bosco) standout Titus Toler announced a Badgers offer.

247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN designate Toler as a three-star safety who committed to Colorado on July 16. Rivals notes 14 offers for the prep defensive back, including from Power Five programs like Arizona State, Cal, Minnesota, UCLA, Washington, and Washington State.

With Colorado firing Mike MacIntyre earlier this week, Wisconsin may be looking to get involved depending on who the Buffaloes hire as their next head coach.

In this 2019 class, Wisconsin lost projected safety Bryson Shaw earlier this year when he flipped his commitment to Ohio State.

If the high school name sounds familiar, Toler is prep teammates with current Wisconsin 2019 commit Spencer Lytle. St. John Bosco lost in in the CIF Southern Section Division I championship on Friday night.

Rivals.com’s Adam Gorney reported on Wednesday that the 2019 commit received an offer from Iowa. Gorney also tweeted on Nov. 8 that Lytle received one from Northwestern as well.

On WOZN’s Wisconsin Roundtable with Zach Heilprin, BadgerBlitz.com’s Jon McNamara noted that USC “has also reached out” to Lytle.
