He’s, uh, pretty good.

Wisconsin 2019 commit Graham Mertz put on another show during a huge playoff game, accounting for six touchdowns in Blue Valley North’s 51–49 win over Olathe North in a Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) Class 6A semifinal on Friday.

Mertz threw for five touchdowns and ran for another in the victory, which catapults the Mustangs into the 6A state title game next Saturday. According to the announcers on the game’s live stream, he completed 32 of 55 passes for 512 yards with the five touchdowns and two interceptions.

Entering the game, Mertz had completed over 63 percent of his passes for 3,132 yards with 44 touchdowns to just eight interceptions.

247Sports composite rankings list Mertz as a four-star commit, the No. 99 player overall, and the No. 4 pro-style quarterback in the nation for 2019.
