In front of a live streaming audience, Wisconsin 2019 four-star commit Graham Mertz shined in a 49–20 win during a Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) Class 6A playoff match-up on Friday night.

Playing for Blue Valley North, Mertz threw six touchdowns in the dominant victory, tossing the scores all within the first three quarters of the game.

It appears the official seasons stats for the team have not been updated after Friday’s game, but the program’s site listed Mertz as completing 62.7 percent of his passes for 2,850 yards with 38 touchdown passes to only eight interceptions.

You can watch the full game here, but for those highlights of Mertz’s touchdowns, check out the videos below posted by the Wisconsin State Journal’s Jason Galloway and WOZN’s Zach Heilprin.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Mertz is a four-star recruit, the No. 83 player overall, and No. 4 pro-style quarterback in the nation. Despite attention and overtures from some of college football’s elite programs, he shut down his recruitment process and reaffirmed his commitment to Wisconsin back in July.
