Wisconsin QB Alex Hornibrook off injury report

D’Cota Dixon and Isaiahh Loudermilk are still questionable vs. Rutgers.

Wisconsin released its updated injury report on Thursday, two days away from its cross-divisional match-up against Rutgers.

In what looks like good news, quarterback Alex Hornibrook (head) is no longer on the injury report. The redshirt junior was in concussion protocol and missed last weekend’s game at Northwestern. Head coach Paul Chryst confirmed on Thursday that Hornibrook is cleared to play.

Redshirt sophomore left tackle Cole Van Lanen (left leg) was upgraded to questionable. Redshirt freshman Logan Bruss is listed as the No. 2 left tackle on the depth chart after Van Lanen, normally a co-starter at the position with redshirt junior Jon Dietzen, was initially listed as out on Monday’s report.

Still questionable this week are safety D’Cota Dixon (right leg), cornerback Deron Harrell (right leg), and defensive end Isaiahh Loudermilk (left leg).

Starting safety Scott Nelson (right leg) and reserve cornerback Travian Blaylock (right leg) both were downgraded to out, joining nose tackle Olive Sagapolu (right arm).

New to the injury report, redshirt sophomore fullback Mason Stokke (left leg) joins Blaylock, Nelson, and Sagapolu as out this week for Rutgers (11 a.m., BTN). Stokke saw some time on the field for offense while also contributing on special teams.
