Wisconsin offers 2019 FB/TE Quan Easterling

The Badgers reach out to a MAC commit

Still working to complete their class of 2019, the Wisconsin Badgers offered Akron commit Quan Easterling on Sunday.

Easterling, from Akron (Archbishop Hoban High School), Ohio, initially gave his verbal commitment to the Zips back on June 20 but tweeted the news of the UW opportunity on Sunday.

Rated a two-star prospect by 247Sports, Easterling is listed as a fullback but rated as an athlete by the recruiting service with offers from Akron, Toledo, Dartmouth, and now Wisconsin. Rivals also notes an offer from Marshall and designates him as a tight end.

Listed at 6’2, 215 pounds on his Hudl profile, he is listed as both a fullback and tight end.

On Monday, 247Sports’s Bill Greene mentioned Easterling as one of the 10 recruits under-the-radar in the state of Ohio who are “seeing their stock rise.”

You only need to watch 90 seconds of Easterling’s 10-minute Hudl highlight reel to know he is a monster in the run-blocking game at the high-school level, with pancakes upon pancakes of blocks against his competition.
