Update: Oct. 20, 11:05 a.m. CT: Wisconsin 2019 offensive lineman commit Joe Tippmann and 2020 defensive lineman target Cole Brevard are now added to our list.

The night game under the lights of Camp Randall Stadium against Nebraska two weekends ago brought together many recruits and verbal commits for the Wisconsin Badgers.

Now, homecoming weekend is upon us, and at least one official visit and several unofficial visits will take place for the Badgers leading up to Saturday’s game vs. the Illinois Fighting Illini.

As of Thursday evening, a current Big Ten verbal commit is that one official visit, while a couple of Wisconsin pledges from the class of 2019 are also expected to come to town. Take a look at who is reportedly coming from the 2020 class, and there are some intriguing prep standouts who will be in Madison.

The list below might not have every single one of this weekend’s visitors, but the ones listed have either been tweeted by the recruits themselves or confirmed by B5Q or another outlet.

2019 recruits

LB Mohamed Toure

Earlier this week, the 247Sports composite three-star linebacker confirmed via Twitter that he was taking an official visit to Wisconsin this weekend.

Back on Aug. 30, Toure verbally committed to Rutgers. 247Sports rates the Pleasantville, N.J., native as a high three-star prospect and the No. 26 inside linebacker in the country for the class of 2019. Its composite rankings designate him as a three-star recruit and the No. 48 inside linebacker in the nation, with Rivals currently rating him as a two-star outside linebacker.

247Sports lists 16 offers, with Rivals noting 17. Programs vying for him include Boston College, Buffalo, Georgia Tech, Maryland, UCF, Virginia, and Wake Forest, among others.

RB Julius Davis

The three-star recruit and only running back commit in Wisconsin’s 2019 class confirmed with B5Q this week that he will be up in Madison on Saturday to take in the game. His high school, Menomonee Falls, will be starting its WIAA state playoff run on Friday night.

Davis and fellow 2019 commit Keeanu Benton are still in the running for the two spots left in the Under Armour All-American Game, which will take place in early January. Fans can vote for Davis and Benton here.

CB Semar Melvin

From Florida powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas, the 2019 Wisconsin verbal commit tweeted earlier this week that he’ll be in town.

OL Joe Tippmann

Tippmann confirmed with B5Q on Saturday morning, after a family member reached out to us via Twitter, that he will be in Madison for the game on Saturday.

TE/OL/DL Jake Rock

From Kettle Moraine, Wis., the in-state product is a teammate of 2019 commit Blake Wilcox and 2020 four-star offensive lineman Trey Wedig. He holds a number of recent FCS offers from North Dakota State, Western Illinois, and Drake.

2020 recruits

QB Max Johnson

BadgerBlitz.com’s Jon McNamara reported on Wednesday that the four-star signal caller from Georgia is “expected” to be at Wisconsin. 247Sports’ composite rankings rate him a four-star quarterback, with 16 offers from Georgia, Miami, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, and others.

DL Aidan Keanaaina

From Denver, Colo. (Mullen), Keanaaina is rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports’ composite rankings and Rivals. Both recruiting services list 16 offers for the junior lineman, including Notre Dame, UCLA, home state Colorado, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, and Wisconsin.

OLB Kaden Johnson

B5Q confirmed with the four-star standout that he will unofficially visit Wisconsin this weekend. Rivals site The Gopher Report initially reported back on Oct. 17 ($) that he would visit Madison.

Johnson is a four-star recruit by 247Sports (both composite and standalone rankings) and Rivals, and a three-star prospect and No. 249 player in the 2020 class by ESPN. Both 247Sports and Rivals list eight offers for the standout from the Gopher State, including from Big Ten programs Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Purdue.

DT Cole Brevard

B5Q photographer Matt Fleming confirmed the 247Sports composite four-star recruit is here in Madison. BadgerBlitz.com previously noted earlier this week that he would be in town in their Badgers’ Den forum ($).
