Yeah, Big Ten basketball media day was Thursday, but that did not stop the Wisconsin men’s basketball team from having some fun with UW-Madison students late in the afternoon.
Organizing on the blacktop courts near UW’s Sellery Hall, the Badgers squad met up with students for some hoops action and more. #AreaRED, the student section organization for both football and basketball, tweeted highlights from the event.
It all appeared to start during the mid-afternoon, when Wisconsin sent messages on Twitter and Instagram about the impromptu gathering to start at 5 p.m. CT at Sellery Hall, one of the dorms in the southeastern portion of the campus area.
It appears UW students enjoyed their time interacting with the team on a closer level.
