Big Ten Basketball Media Day is taking place on Thursday in Rosemont, Ill., with the conference also releasing its preseason All-Big Ten team.
Among those 10 players announced as recipients of that preseason accolade included Wisconsin forward Ethan Happ.
Happ joined Purdue guard Carsen Edwards as unanimous choices among a panel of conference media, with Edwards being named the Big Ten Preseason Player of the Year.
Last season, Happ scored a career-high 17.9 points and 3.7 assists per game along with averaging eight rebounds per contest. He led Wisconsin in those three categories, along with steals (49) and blocks (35)—being the only player in the country last year to do so in all five. This during a 2017-18 campaign where he earned first-team All-Big Ten honors.
