Wisconsin basketball recruiting: Badgers offer four-star guard Tyger Campbell, per report

An intriguing player, but can the Badgers make a mark?

Still looking for another piece to the 2018 class, the Wisconsin Badgers’ men’s basketball coaching staff has reportedly offered a four-star guard from Indiana.

According to GiveNGo’s Pat Lawless, Wisconsin offered La Porte, Ind. (La Lumiere School) standout Tyger Campbell. For that matter, Campbell retweeted Lawless’s tweet.

247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals all list Campbell at 6’0 and rate him as a four-star prospect and top-100 player in the country. 247Sports’ standalone ratings rank him the highest at No. 56 and the No. 11 point guard in the nation.

Campbell has been offered by the likes of Purdue, Maryland, Memphis, UCLA, Iowa, Illinois, and Marquette among others, according to 247Sports. He originally gave a verbal commitment to DePaul but decided to reopen his recruiting process back in September.

Wisconsin’s class of 2018 currently holds forward Taylor Currie and center Joe Hedstrom.
