Both polls have the Badgers in the top 10 entering their bye week.

After an impressive 40–6 win at BYU, Wisconsin found itself moving up on Sunday afternoon.

UW bumps up to No. 9 in the AP Top 25 while jumping back into the top 10 in the Amway Coaches Poll at No. 10.

Four Big Ten teams stayed within the top 25 of the AP poll, with Penn State (No. 4, up one spot) Michigan (No. 8, down one spot), and Ohio State (No. 10) all maintaining their spots within the top 10. It is worth noting that Wisconsin did jump Ohio State, which fell two spots.

Those four are the only conference teams ranked in the coaches poll, with the Nittany Lions (No. 4, up one), Wolverines (No. 8, down one), and Buckeyes (remain at No. 9) all locking down spots for another week. UW moved up two spots from No. 12.

Wisconsin will rest up during its only bye week of the 2017 season, then will look to prepare for quarterback Clayton Thorson, running back Justin Jackson, and Northwestern (2–1) on Sept. 30 (kickoff time TBD).
