The Wisconsin Badgers continue to be in the hunt for the collegiate services of an intriguing and rising mid-Atlantic prep standout.

Blairstown, N.J. (Blair Academy) recruit Jayson Oweh announced Wisconsin as one of his top 10 schools on Sunday afternoon. UW joins Ohio State, Penn State, North Carolina, Harvard, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Notre Dame, Georgia Tech, and Rutgers as the programs making the cut for the 6’5, 236-pound prospect.

Only playing a year of football so far, Oweh is viewed as both a tight end and defense end by recruiting services—though both BadgerBlitz.com and BadgerNation.com note Wisconsin is recruiting him on the offensive side of the ball.

Oweh’s star has been shining, with interest from schools climbing in the past month. According to Scout last week, he performed well at the Under Armour New Jersey camp.

He also earned the third-highest score from The Opening Regional in New Jersey back in late April after running a 4.63-second 40-yard dash and 4.57-second shuttle, along with recording a 34.9” vertical jump.
