Spring practice is in full swing as coaches and players prepare for the annual spring scrimmage: an event that will draw a number of Wisconsin Badgers recruiting targets to Madison for unofficial visits.
With spring ball rolling along, the Badgers’ coaching staff continues to build out its recruiting “big board” with several notable offers made in the 2018 class and beyond.
2018 Offers
CB DeAndre Hollins
Tampa, Fla.
6’2, 172 pounds
Hollins is currently rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports, Scout, and Rivals (ESPN doesn’t currently have a rating for him). Based on measurables alone, Hollins makes for an intriguing defensive back prospect. By offering, Wisconsin becomes his 11th known offer, joining the likes of Louisville, South Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

DT Nazir Sy
Norcross, Ga.
6’2, 326 pounds
Sy is a bit of an unknown in the recruiting world as of now, with Rivals being the only site to currently provide a rating on the three-star prospect.
Having competed in the Atlanta Regional for The Opening we know this: Sy is a BIG MAN (6’2, 326 pounds verified)! Physically, he would appear to be an ideal fit in the Badgers’ 3-4 defense.
By offering, Wisconsin puts itself in a favorable position by becoming his first Power Five offer (fourth overall).

RB Miles Friday
Suwanee, Ga.
5’11, 172 pounds
Having seven scholarship offers before starting your sophomore year of high school is impressive no matter the position. With an early offer, Wisconsin joins North Carolina, Maryland, and Louisville as Power Five schools to extend a scholarship.
