March Madness 2017: Reactions to Wisconsin’s win over No. 1 overall seed Villanova

Ohhh, how sweet it is to be moving on.

Despite foul trouble and problems at the free-throw line, the No. 8 seed Wisconsin Badgers upset the No. 1 overall seed Villanova Wildcats 65-62 in the second round of the NCAA tournament on Saturday afternoon. UW will now move on to face the winner of Florida and Virginia in the Sweet 16.

Senior Nigel Hayes carried the Badgers with both forward Ethan Happ and guard Bronson Koenig on the bench. The Ohio native scored 19 points—14 in the second half—and added eight rebounds. That included this nifty game-deciding shot to put the Badgers up by two with just about 12 seconds left in regulation:
