MADISON—Though many are looking forward to what happens tonight in the Capital One Orange Bowl later on Saturday night, the Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball team has a chance to reach above the .500 mark as they face the UMass Lowell River Hawks during the afternoon.

Wisconsin (7-7, 1-1 Big Ten) comes off an underwhelming 82-70 win over Chicago State on Wednesday night. Greg Gard’s squad will face a UMass Lowell (6-6) that has lost five of its last six games but features four starters in double figures, led by redshirt senior guard/forward Jahad Thomas (19.2 points, 8.7 rebounds per game).
