Introduction

The lone scholarship quarterback recruit in the Class of 2018, Chase Wolf was a two-year varsity starter for Ohio powerhouse St. Xavier (Cincinnati). In two seasons, he threw for 3,655 and 40 touchdowns with a .622 completion percentage.

As a junior, Wolf stepped in when Penn State commit Sean Clifford went down with injury, threw for 1,391 yards and 16 touchdowns, along with registering three rushing touchdowns. St. Xavier won the Ohio Division I State Championship in 2016.

As a senior, Wolf earned first-team All-Ohio honors and claimed the Greater Catholic League South Player of the Year and Southwest District Offensive Player of the Year after throwing for 2,532 passing yards and 27 touchdown passes, with another four scores on the ground.

Rivals reported that his offer sheet included South Carolina, Boston College, Pitt, and Maryland.
