The fast prep standout, who will enroll early, could bring trouble to Big Ten opponents.

A four-star recruit by ESPN, Aron Cruickshank showed his dynamic skill set out of the backfield and in the passing game during his prep career. Appearing to play both quarterback and wide receiver, the New York native escaped defenders and found the end zone often on the high school fields.

Now taking his talents to Madison as an early enrollee, Cruickshank—labeled as an athlete by a couple of recruiting services and by the Wisconsin Badgers —could become a dangerous offensive and special teams weapon.

Verbally committed on June 27, 2017

Cruickshank was the 16th commit for Wisconsin’s class of 2018 when he verbally pledged back in the summer. What really stands out when watching his game film is his breakaway speed and elusiveness, which was seen in his junior Hudl highlights, and definitely in his senior film seen below.

Honestly, how Cruickshank is used in Wisconsin’s offense the next few years under the guise of head coach Paul Chryst and offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph should be extremely intriguing.

According to Rivals, Cruickshank held offers from Wisconsin, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Syracuse, among others.
