INDIANAPOLIS — The No. 4 Wisconsin Badgers look to lock down their place in the College Football Playoff with a win in the Big Ten Championship Game against No. 8 Ohio State on Saturday night.
Wisconsin (12–0, 9–0 Big Ten) will face its toughest challenge this season against Ohio State (10–2, 8–1), which boasts talent at all positions and is also looking to make its case to sneak into the playoff.
We’ll see how much Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett plays and his effectiveness after knee surgery earlier this week, but the Badgers will have to contain a dynamic duo at running back in J.K. Dobbins and Mike Weber along with shutting down the second-best passing offense in the conference.
Defensively, Nick Bosa, Tyquan Lewis, and Sam Hubbard lead an vaunted line that could give Wisconsin’s offensive front five fits. How will Alex Hornibrook, Jonathan Taylor, and Troy Fumagalli change the game?
Follow Owen Riese and myself, who are both inside Lucas Oil Stadium covering the game for B5Q.
