You knew this was coming, right?

The Big Ten announced on Monday morning that Wisconsin Badgers running back Jonathan Taylor won the conference’s Freshman of the Week award.

Again.

Taylor rushed for 183 yards on 29 carries with a touchdown in Wisconsin’s 45–17 win over Indiana on Saturday. His performanced included runs of 45 and 32 yards against the Hoosiers’ defense in Bloomington, the latter off of a variation of the jet sweep that he took for a touchdown in the second half.

The true freshman from Salem, N.J., leads the conference in rushing yards (1,368), rushing yards per game (152), and rushing touchdowns (12). He is second in the conference in total touchdowns and all-purpose yardage behind Penn State’s Saquon Barkley.

This is the fifth time Taylor has earned the award this season, apparently a UW record according to the tweet above.
