The good times kept rolling this weekend as No. 1 Wisconsin (6–0–0, 6–0–0 Big Ten) swept Syracuse (0–3–1) on the road.

In Friday’s 1–0 win, sophomore forward Abby Roque netted the game’s only goal, weaving through the Orange defense and slipping one past Syracuse goaltender Abbey Miller. Wisconsin goaltender Kristen Campbell stopped 20 shots in the shutout.

The Badgers offense poured it on Syracuse in the second game of the series on Saturday, beating the Orange 5–2.

Redshirt senior captain Claudia Kepler scored two goals within 2:11 of each other at the end of the first to give the Badgers a lead they would never relinquish.

Freshman forward Caitlin Schneider grabbed the game-winner early in the third while senior defender Lauren Williams and junior defender Mikaela Gardner added a pair of insurance goals late in the period.

Wisconsin peppered Miller with 38 shots in the game. Campbell stopped 16 shots in the win.

The Badgers stay on the road this weekend, traveling to Mankato to take on WCHA foe Minnesota State. Friday’s game starts at 7 p.m. CT, with the puck dropping on Saturday at 3 p.m.
