According to multiple reports, cornerback Titus Booker is no longer with the Wisconsin Badgers football team.
Fox Sports Wisconsin’s Dave Heller first reported the news, with the Wisconsin Sports Zone Network’s Zach Heilprin and the Wisconsin State Journal’s Jason Galloway also confirming the departure of the Illinois native from the program.
All noted a UW official confirmed the departure, but Heilprin reported it is “unclear” if the redshirt sophomore will stay at the university or transfer to another program to continue playing football.
Booker was a four-star recruit by Scout and a three-star by 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals after receiving Class 6A first-team all-state honors from the Illinois High School Football Coaches Association.
Booker played in 14 games last season, recording six tackles, including four against Akron. This season, he played in the season-opening 59–10 win over Utah State but has not been seen on the field since.
