The No. 9 Wisconsin Badgers released their preliminary Week 6 injury report on Monday morning.

Redshirt senior tight end Troy Fumagalli, who missed Saturday’s win against Northwestern, is listed as questionable with a left leg injury.

“Troy, I think we’ll see,” head coach Paul Chryst said during Monday’s weekly press conference. “He feels better certainly today than he did a week ago at this time, so it will be as the week progresses.”

The preseason All-American is joined by redshirt junior running back Taiwan Deal and kicker P.J. Rosowski (right legs) as questionable.

Deal’s upgrade from out is a positive sign for the beleaguered back, who has played in only 16 games in his Wisconsin career. After being out in the spring, he appeared to be having a solid fall camp before his injury in August.

“Taiwan just started doing some individual [work], so we’ll see what he can handle,” Chryst said. “Too early to tell on Taiwan for sure, and Troy we’ll just see each day.”

Defensive end Chikwe Obasih and wide receiver George Rushing are listed as out with left leg injuries.

Of note: left guard Jon Dietzen and left tackle Michael Deiter are not on the injury report. Dietzen missed the BYU game but returned to play against Northwestern, while Deiter admitted after Saturday’s game that his ankle was sore.
