An intriguing class of 2018 prospect will play in cardinal and white.
Loganville, Ga., cornerback Donte Burton verbally committed to Wisconsin this weekend. He publicly announced his decision via Twitter on Sunday.
Burton is rated a four-star recruit by ESPN and a three-star recruit by 247Sports (both composite and standalone), Rivals, and Scout. Most list the Georgia talent at either 5’11 or 6’0 and between 172-174 pounds.
According to Scout, Burton received offers from Notre Dame, Louisville, Pitt, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia, among others. He previously decommitted from North Carolina in April.
Burton’s Hudl profile boasts a 4.44 second 40-yard dash, 4.26 second shuttle and 36.5” vertical jump. At The Opening Regionals in Atlanta earlier this year, he was recorded at 5’11 and 172 pounds while running a 4.62 second 40-yard dash, a 4.19 second shuttle and a 35.6” vertical.
