Wisconsin men’s basketball student season tickets sold out in three minutes

Greg Gard’s tournament-tested Wisconsin Badgers are coming into 2016-17 with high expectations. The Grateful Red will once again be out in force to see it.

As it has for 12 of the past 15 years, the men’s basketball student section sold out on Thursday.

This year, it only took 180 seconds.

Frequently receiving national press as one of the best student sections in the country (and also the most likely to push the limits of human decency), the denizens of the Kohl Center south baseline are ready for 2016-17. With the Badgers returning their entire core from last year’s run to the Elite Eight, they are going to have a lot to cheer for.
