The Wisconsin Badgers (3-0) moved both up and down in the polls after their too-close-for-comfort 23-17 win over Georgia State, but next Saturday’s matchup at Michigan State still showcases two highly-ranked teams.

UW dropped just outside the top 10 to No. 11 in the AP Top 25 after coming into Saturday’s matchup ranked ninth. The Badgers now hold the No. 10 spot in the coaches poll, up two spots from last week.

Five Big Ten teams are ranked in the AP poll. Ohio State is No. 2, followed by Michigan (No. 4), Michigan State (No. 8), Wisconsin and Nebraska (No. 20).

There are now four Big Ten teams in the Top 10 of the coaches poll, with the Buckeyes (No. 2), Wolverines (No. 5), Spartans (No. 8) and Badgers all holding down spots heading into conference play. Nebraska also jumps up to No. 20 after their 35-32 win over Oregon. Iowa dropped to No. 25 after their last-second loss to North Dakota State.

Despite both teams being ranked highly, Wisconsin and Michigan State will play at 11 a.m. CT on the Big Ten Network.
