It’s been a fast frenzy in the early 36-plus hours of NBA free agency. That included former Wisconsin Badgers forward Jon Leuer, who according to multiple reports, signed a four-year, $42 million deal with the Detroit Pistons.
ESPN’s Marc Stein and Cleveland.com’s Chris Haynes first reported the terms of the deal on Saturday afternoon, with Leuer’s agency, Priority Sports, announcing the four-year deal shortly before.
Last year with the Phoenix Suns, he averaged 8.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game in 67 games. For his five-year career, Leuer’s played in 253 games — averaging 5.6 points and 3.5 rebounds between four teams. He was initially drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in second round of the 2011 NBA Draft.
