Wisconsin football recruiting: Badgers offer 2018 DB Trent Ingalls

An in-state product shines in camp and receives his first offer.

Camp season has officially begun for college football, and the Wisconsin Badgers started their series of camps on Saturday.

It's a chance for recruits, particularly of the in-state variety, to showcase their skills to the coaching staff. 2018 defensive back Trent Ingalls impressed the coaches and earned an offer on Saturday. He announced it via Twitter.

The 6'1, 175-pound prospect from Menasha, Wis., confirmed it was the first offer in his recruiting process. Ingalls told's Jon McNamara he registered a 4.55 40-yard dash during this weekend's camp, which would definitely make the incoming junior stand out.
