Wisconsin 2017 quarterback commit Jack Coan recently had the opportunity to work out with New York Giants great Phil Simms.
Coan, a high three-star, pro-style quarterback, committed to the Badgers on March 24, passing up offers from Miami, Michigan and West Virginia, among others. The West Sayville, N.Y., prospect led Sayville High School to a Class III Long Island Championship last season and was nominated for the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl last month, along with fellow Badgers commit Tyler Beach.

Coan is one of 10 commits for the Badgers in the 2017 class, and was one of four offers handed out to pro-style quarterbacks. The other three are currently committed elsewhere.
Coan also worked with Simms about a year ago.
