It was a good day for Wisconsin Badgers verbal commit and Madison, Wis. (Memorial) athlete Jake Ferguson last Saturday at The Opening Regionals in Addison, Ill. He ranked in the 99 percentile of all athletes at the time of his testing, which included a 40-yard dash of 4.73 seconds and an agility drill of 4.15 seconds. Analysts from both Scout.com and 247Sports praised his route running ability and ball catching ability.
Late Wednesday evening, Ferguson was formally invited to The Opening Finals in Beaverton, Oregon from July 5-10. The Finals bring together some of the best national prep standouts seen in each of the regional events throughout the spring. Participants will train at the official Nike headquarters for the nearly week-long event.
