NFL draft 2016: Wisconsin players, coaches celebrate Cleveland Browns selecting Joe Schobert

Lots of love for the former walk-on hearing his name called on Sundays.

With the 99th overall pick in the NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns selected Wisconsin Badgers outside linebacker Joe Schobert. The former walk-on ascended through the depth chart of the UW defense from 2013-15, which culminated with the Waukesha native being named an All-American and earning the Butkus-Fitzgerald Big Ten Linebacker of the Year last season for leading the team with 19.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks.

Now, Schobert will be teammates with another former UW All-American, left tackle Joe Thomas, in the NFC North.
