Atlanta (Pace Academy) 2017 running back/athlete Deon Jackson announced on Friday he was offered by the Wisconsin Badgers.
Jackson is a three-star recruit by Scout, Rivals and 247Sports. Scout and Rivals both list the prep standout as an athlete, while 247Sports lists him as a running back. The 6'0, 203-pound prospect was listed as one of the players to watch by Scout at The Opening Regionals in Atlanta last month, saying that "Jackson has really been picking up steam" in terms of offers.
During the Regionals competition, he ran a 4.64 40-yard dash and a 4.23 shuttle.
Boston College, Oregon State, Louisville, Maryland and Rutgers, along with West Virginia all are interested in Jackson's services.
With four-star prospect A.J. Dillon committing to Michigan in late March, Jackson appears to be the next running back UW and position coach John Settle are targeting.
