Wisconsin is back in the Sweet 16 for the third straight year after defeating Xavier 66-63 -- a 7-2 upset -- in the Round of 32 in St. Louis on Sunday night.
Curt Hogg was courtside for all the madness, so we'll have much more shortly -- but here's what you want to see: Bronson Koenig's game-winning, buzzer-beating three-pointer.
Incredible. Wisconsin fans got plenty accustomed to March magic over the past two seasons, both ending in Final Four runs and the 2015 season falling just seconds short of a national championship, and this game felt bound to come down to a buzzer beater. Wisconsin enjoyed various hot streaks in the first half, but was stagnant for much of the second.
Yet, multiple defensive stands -- and a few fortuitous calls by the refs -- put the ball in Wisconsin's hands at the end of the game. And Bronson Koenig responded.
