Dallas Jeanty is one of two recruits (the other being Kare Lyles) from Wisconsin's 2016 recruiting class who has enrolled early for the spring semester. Jeanty has an interesting backstory, having been homeless for a period of time while working two jobs in Florida and continuing to be a success on the field and in the classroom. Scouts see Jeanty playing either OLB or ILB at Wisconsin, and his early enrollment should give him plenty of time to acclimate to the speed of the college game.
Jeanty (6'0, 220 pounds) was an early commit for the Badgers in June and took a visit on Sept. 26 for the Hawaii game. The Fort Lauderdale product chose Wisconsin over an impressive list of suitors that included Indiana, Maryland, Oregon State, USF and Tennessee.
