Jake Hescock is another small forward-sized tight end for the Badgers, joining the equally large David Edwards and Troy Fumagalli. Hescock is one of the top players in the northeast and is able to use his impressive height to catch the ball away from his body and shield defenders from breaking up passes. He is a plus blocker as well. His frame also leaves room to add 10-15 pounds while working in a college weight program.

Verbally committed June 26, 2015

Hescock committed last June as the Badgers' seventh commit in the month of June alone. The Badgers were able to beat out Florida, Pitt, UConn, Temple, Wake Forest and Old Dominion for Hescock's services. Boston College and Syracuse were also sniffing around Hescock but never offered the massive tight end.

His commitment capped off a great run on the recruiting trail for the Badgers that included signing top in-state lineman Cole Van Lanen.
