One of the final pieces to the class of 2016 for the Wisconsin Badgers, Williams fills a huge need at cornerback where depth is a concern with Darius Hillary, T.J. Reynard and Terrance Floyd leaving the program due to exhausting their eligibility.
The Texas prep standout, whose 6'1 frame will allow him to match-up well against Big Ten wide receivers, joins fellow commits Ke'Shan Pennamon and Dontye Carriere-Williams as three promising corners who will get a chance to showcase their abilities in Justin Wilcox's defense -- and possibly early on in their collegiate careers.

Williams chose Wisconsin over the likes of Kansas State, Indiana, and SMU. He verbally pledged to the Badgers a couple of days after his official visit to the Wildcats, and a little over a week after officially visiting Wisconsin. He also held offers from Illinois, Houston and Air Force.
